What the Documented Service Visits Showed
October 8–9, 2024 (2 Days) — Radio Freezing / Ram Boxes
A recall was performed to update the ABS module. The radio was also reported to be intermittently freezing, however the technicians were unable to duplicate the issue. The ram boxes were also reported to not flush when closed. Technicians verified both lids pulling away from the applique house, which led to the necessary parts being placed on backorder. A rental was provided.
July 31–August 5, 2025 (6 Days) — Screen Blacking Out / Wheel Clip
The radio is still reported to be freezing and the screen is blacking out. Technicians were able to verify the issue this time and found an internal issue with the radio, placing a necessary part on backorder. The applique on the passenger side ram box was also reported to pop out. Technicians found the applique popped out and reinstalled it with no further issues. The right rear wheel clip was also reported to keep popping out. Technicians found the clip rounded, which was then replaced. A rental was provided.
September 10–October 4, 2025 (25 Days) — Nav Cluster Display
The nav will still intermittently not display on the cluster. Technicians verified the issue and reopened the same STAR case, which led to the radio being replaced again as per STAR advice. A rental was provided.
