- Rear hatch light bar cracking / cracking noise: a cracking noise was reported when using the auto open and close function, and the rear hatch light bar had cracked.

What the Documented Service Visits Showed
December 13, 2024 — Rear Hatch Light Bar Cracking
A cracking noise was reported when using the auto open and close function, and the rear hatch light bar had cracked. Technicians noted that the vehicle needs a new rear hatch light bar.
April 14, 2025 — Dim Rear Hatch Light / Sticking HVAC Controls
The rear hatch light is dim. Technicians installed new light and applied new double sided adhesive to chrome trim and installed it onto the new light. The rear hvac controls were also reportedly sticking. Technicians verified the issue and replaced the AC controls.
June 13, 2025 — Infotainment Recall / Intermittent 12V Malfunction
A recall was performed during this visit to update the infotainment system display software. A 12v system malfunction was reportedly popping up intermittently. Technicians found codes for generator malfunction, however found no damage to the charging system. They then recommended the customer to drive the vehicle to make sure the code does not return.
June 18, 2025 — Ongoing 12V Warning / Alternator Replaced
A 12v warning system malfunction warning was still reportedly popping up intermittently. No detailed cause or correction was documented for this issue, however the alternator was replaced during this visit.
August 1–8, 2025 — Coolant Performance / Thermostat Housing
The warning light is on. Technicians found codes for coolant performance and replaced the thermostat housing with new gasket.
October 16–21, 2025 — 12V Not Charging / J533 / Blank Infotainment
The warning light is on for 12v system not charging. Technicians could not duplicate the issue but found faults for the J533 for the generator. They then determined that the J533 was faulty due to internal failure, which led to the J533 module being replaced and programmed. The infotainment screen was also reportedly blank after starting the vehicle. Technicians verified the issue and found TSB 91-23-04 related to the issue and created SD card and performed and completed update as per the TSB. A loaner was provided.
