Do You Qualify?
About a minute is all it takes to find out. There are four questions.
You Likely Qualify!
So far your answers fit the basic lemon law test. An attorney has to confirm it from the repair orders. We handle cases on a contingency basis, which means no attorney’s fees unless we recover for you.
You May Not Qualify Under Standard Lemon Law
Your answers do not fit the standard lemon law test, but other consumer protection laws might still apply. Contact us anyway.

How your Oklahoma claim gets built
Our lemon law work is directed by Steven P. Nassi, Esq., Managing Partner, Easy Lemon by RockPoint Law P.C. An Oklahoma claim gets built on two things: the Oklahoma lemon law statute, and the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which applies in all fifty states. Send the repair orders and the purchase or lease paperwork, and we can tell you which of the two fits your vehicle.

Tulsa Lemon Law Basics
A Tulsa car is judged against Oklahoma's statute, Okla. Stat. tit. 15, §901 to §910, and that law covers new motor vehicles purchased or leased in Oklahoma for personal, family, or household use. So the first question is coverage, and the second is whether your repair orders reach one of the repair limits in the box above. If they do, and the defect is still there and the deadline has not run out, you may have a claim. The statute text, the filing deadlines and how used cars are treated are all on our Oklahoma Lemon Law Attorneys page.
How a Tulsa Lemon Law Claim Works
This is what happens after you call us from Tulsa.
Document Your Repairs
Keep every repair order from your Tulsa dealership, even the short ones. Under Oklahoma's lemon law, those papers are the written proof of each repair attempt.
Free Case Evaluation
We read your repair history against the Oklahoma statute and tell you whether the car qualifies. The review costs nothing, and there are no attorney's fees unless we recover for you.
We File the Claim
We write and send the paperwork, including the written notice to the manufacturer that Oklahoma law requires. We deal with the manufacturer for you.
You Get Compensated
A successful case usually ends with a refund, a replacement vehicle or a cash settlement. There are no attorney's fees unless we recover for you.
Is Your Tulsa Car a Lemon? Oklahoma's 3-Step Test
Does the Defect Substantially Impair Use, Value, or Safety?
Under Oklahoma law, the defect has to substantially impair the vehicle's use, value, or safety.
Have You Met the Repair Attempt Threshold?
In Oklahoma the test is 4 repair attempts for the same defect or 30 cumulative business days out of service, as long as the claim is brought within the deadline in step 3. Count the visits on your repair orders to see where you stand.
Did It Happen Within the Rights Period?
In Oklahoma, the deadline under the statute is the express warranty period or 1 year from delivery, whichever is earlier. We check that deadline against the delivery date on your contract and the dates on your repair orders.
If you are not sure about your dates, call us. The consultation is free. 📞 (855) 435-3666
If you think you are past a deadline, call us anyway. We may still be able to help.
Court and Venue in Tulsa
Parts of Tulsa lie in Osage County, Rogers County, Tulsa County and Wagoner County, per the 2020 Census. Their general civil trial courts are the Osage County District Court, the Rogers County District Court, the Tulsa County District Court and the Wagoner County District Court. Which court hears a particular case still depends on its facts, the warranty issues involved and the law it is brought under.
The Oklahoma lemon law is Okla. Stat. tit. 15, §901 to §910. If the manufacturer's arbitration program is state-certified, the consumer must use it.
The repair test in the statute is 4 repair attempts for the same defect, or 30 cumulative business days with the vehicle out of service. The statutory remedy is a replacement vehicle or a full refund, minus a reasonable offset for use. A consumer who prevails may recover attorney fees.
Open recalls on your vehicle can be checked against NHTSA records at easylemon.com/recalls. A recall alone is not a lemon law claim.

Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Quality Assurance Act: The Rules That Decide a Tulsa Claim
Looking for the repair test or the arbitration rule? Those are under Court and Venue above. Oklahoma law has a few more rules, and they are listed here.
Notable provisions of Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Quality Assurance Act
Oklahoma requires 4 repair attempts. Written notice to the manufacturer is required, and the manufacturer is given one final repair opportunity. The law covers vehicles during the original warranty period.

What The Manufacturer Owes You
Oklahoma law provides for a replacement vehicle or a full refund, minus a reasonable offset for use. There are three ways a qualifying case from Tulsa usually ends.
Refund
Give the car back and the manufacturer repays the price you paid, with the taxes, registration fees and finance charges. A reasonable use offset comes off that amount.
Replacement Vehicle
The manufacturer hands you a comparable new car and pays the cost of the exchange.
Cash Settlement
The car stays yours and the manufacturer pays for the value the defect took off it. You will not find this option in the statute. It is reached by negotiation.
