Do You Qualify?
It takes about a minute. Four questions, and you find out if the lemon law may apply.
You Likely Qualify!
Your answers line up with the basic lemon law test. The next step is for an attorney to confirm that from your repair orders. Because we work on a contingency basis, there are no attorney’s fees unless we recover for you.
You May Not Qualify Under Standard Lemon Law
Your answers fall outside the usual lemon law test. That does not rule out other consumer protection laws. Contact us anyway.

How your Oklahoma claim gets built
Our lemon law work is directed by Steven P. Nassi, Esq., Managing Partner, Easy Lemon by RockPoint Law P.C. An Oklahoma claim gets built on two things: the Oklahoma lemon law statute, and the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which applies in all fifty states. Send the repair orders and the purchase or lease paperwork, and we can tell you which of the two fits your vehicle.

Ardmore Lemon Law Basics
In Ardmore, as anywhere else in Oklahoma, a lemon law claim is brought under Okla. Stat. tit. 15, §901 to §910. The statute covers new motor vehicles purchased or leased in Oklahoma for personal, family, or household use, but being covered is only the start. The car also has to reach one of the repair limits in the box above, with the defect still unrepaired and the deadline not yet passed. If it does, you may have a claim. Our Oklahoma Lemon Law Attorneys page goes through the statute text, the filing deadlines and used cars in more detail.
How an Ardmore Lemon Law Claim Works
This is what happens after you call us from Ardmore.
Document Your Repairs
Keep every repair order from your Ardmore dealership, even the short ones. Under Oklahoma's lemon law, those papers are the written proof of each repair attempt.
Free Case Evaluation
We read your repair history against the Oklahoma statute and tell you whether the car qualifies. The review costs nothing, and there are no attorney's fees unless we recover for you.
We File the Claim
We write and send the paperwork, including the written notice to the manufacturer that Oklahoma law requires. We deal with the manufacturer for you.
You Get Compensated
A successful case usually ends with a refund, a replacement vehicle or a cash settlement. There are no attorney's fees unless we recover for you.
Is Your Ardmore Car a Lemon? Oklahoma's 3-Step Test
Does the Defect Substantially Impair Use, Value, or Safety?
Under Oklahoma law, the defect has to substantially impair the vehicle's use, value, or safety.
Have You Met the Repair Attempt Threshold?
In Oklahoma the test is 4 repair attempts for the same defect or 30 cumulative business days out of service, as long as the claim is brought within the deadline in step 3. Count the visits on your repair orders to see where you stand.
Did It Happen Within the Rights Period?
In Oklahoma, the deadline under the statute is the express warranty period or 1 year from delivery, whichever is earlier. We check that deadline against the delivery date on your contract and the dates on your repair orders.
If you are not sure about your dates, call us. The consultation is free. 📞 (855) 435-3666
If you think you are past a deadline, call us anyway. We may still be able to help.
Court and Venue in Ardmore
Ardmore is in Carter County. Carter County's general civil trial court is the Carter County District Court. Which court hears a particular case still depends on its facts, the warranty issues involved and the law it is brought under.
The Oklahoma lemon law is Okla. Stat. tit. 15, §901 to §910. If the manufacturer's arbitration program is state-certified, the consumer must use it.
The repair test in the statute is 4 repair attempts for the same defect, or 30 cumulative business days with the vehicle out of service. The statutory remedy is a replacement vehicle or a full refund, minus a reasonable offset for use. A consumer who prevails may recover attorney fees.
Open recalls on your vehicle can be checked against NHTSA records at easylemon.com/recalls. A recall alone is not a lemon law claim.

Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Quality Assurance Act: The Rules That Decide an Ardmore Claim
Some Oklahoma rules go beyond the repair test and the arbitration rule covered under Court and Venue above. Those other rules are here.
Notable provisions of Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Quality Assurance Act
Oklahoma requires 4 repair attempts. Written notice to the manufacturer is required, and the manufacturer is given one final repair opportunity. The law covers vehicles during the original warranty period.

What The Manufacturer Owes You
Under Oklahoma law the remedy is a replacement vehicle or a full refund, minus a reasonable offset for use. A qualifying case from Ardmore usually closes in one of these three ways.
Refund
The car goes back to the manufacturer, which returns what you paid, with the taxes, registration fees and finance charges, less a reasonable use offset.
Replacement Vehicle
The manufacturer swaps your car for a comparable new one and pays for the exchange.
Cash Settlement
You hold on to the car and are paid for the value the defect cost you. This one is not in the statute. It is negotiated.
