2024 Tesla Cybertruck Repair History: What the Repair Orders Show
Visit 1: February 19 - 26, 2025 (8 Days)
- The vehicle was brought in due to squeaking sounds coming from the dashboard during acceleration, turning, and upward movements.
- Technicians traced the noise to a rubbing brace under the windshield and performed repairs that involved removing and reinstalling the frunk assembly, closure panels, front wheel liner, headliner trim, and A-pillar upper trim.
- No loaner was provided.
Visit 2: April 1, 2025 (1 Day)
- The front camera had a persistent blurred area that remained after cleaning.
- Technicians suspected a cropping issue related to firmware version 2025.2.9; no physical repairs were made as the problem appeared resolved with firmware 2025.8.4.
- The owner was educated on the matter, and no further service was performed.
Visit 3: June 9, 2025
- Present (43+ Days) - According to the owner, the vehicle developed another squeaking noise while driving over uneven surfaces, now suspected to be suspension-related, with the technicians unsure if the noise is coming from the suspension or the chassis.
- Technicians reportedly disassembled and reassembled the vehicle and replaced parts, although no official repair order has been provided yet.
- A loaner vehicle was issued during this extended repair period.
