2024 BMW M3 Repair History: What the Repair Orders Show
Visit 1: December 23, 2025–Present
- The owner reported that when driving at speeds of 25-30 mph over bumps, the owner hears a metallic clicking noise coming from the rear of the vehicle, more noticeable on the right (west) side.
- A road test with the foreman confirmed the sound, which seems to originate from the rear shelf or rear wheel housing area.
- The rear compartment shelf and both rear wheel housing cover trims were removed and reinstalled, and the noise was verified again, consistent with the areas described in BMW's service bulletin.
- The issue is louder on the right side but present on both.
- Tires, fluids, and service reminders were also checked and updated as needed.
