Our client bought a 2024 Audi RS e-tron GT in Florida with just 44 miles on the odometer, from Audi North Orlando. By the time the car had only about 4,024 miles, its MMI screen had stopped working. On this vehicle that screen is not a convenience feature, it runs the central display and a set of safety controls, so when it went dark the driver lost access to functions that matter for safe operation. The car had also developed an earlier problem with a door latch that stuck.
The vehicle went in for repair on June 18, 2025 and stayed there. Rather than a series of short visits, this was one long stay: the car sat out of service for more than 50 days while the electrical and safety defect went unresolved. Audi provided a loaner, but the client was making payments on a car they could not drive.
