Idaho's lemon law, Idaho Code §48-901 to §48-913, is the one that applies in Moscow. It covers new motor vehicles purchased or leased in Idaho for personal, family, or household use. Court and Venue in Moscow
Moscow is in Latah County. Latah County's general civil trial court is the District Court of the Second Judicial District, Latah County. Which court hears a particular case still depends on its facts, the warranty issues involved and the law it is brought under.
The Idaho lemon law is Idaho Code §48-901 to §48-913. Arbitration is available in Idaho but not mandatory.
The repair test in the statute is 4 repair attempts for the same defect, or 30 cumulative business days with the vehicle out of service. The statutory remedy is a replacement vehicle or a full refund, minus a reasonable offset for use. A consumer who prevails may recover attorney fees.
